The situation here in northern Gaza is beyond any imagination. For hours now, the army has been dropping flares on us, turning the night into a terrifying daytime. The danger surrounds us from every side, especially after the evacuation leaflets that demanded two million people to flee to the south. Displacement is not an easy solution; it is a journey of suffering. After three days of searching and despair, I found a safe place in the south where we can set up our tent. But the problem is that the cost of this place is very high, 1400£ just to secure the spot. I have paid 400£ to secure the reservation, and I need to complete the remaining amount to ensure a safe place for my family. Furthermore, we need 1000£ to cover the costs of transportation to get there. We will not ask for a new tent; we will take our old one that holds our memories and will be our last refuge. I am writing to you with a heavy heart. We are pleading for your help. We need 2000£ to end this nightmare. When You Have Nothing… and Still Choose to Give My children shared the last bit of milk we had with our cat — not because we had enough, but because we have absolutely nothing. Hunger is now a daily guest in our home, and the painful silence fills their empty stomachs. Hunger taught them mercy, and despite the suffering, kindness still lives in their hearts. Once again, after our recent displacement,I find myself forced to dig a pit for the bathroom with my own hands, because there is no infrastructure in the land where we now live. With only simple tools ,I try to provide my family with the most basic needs of life ,but my body is exhausted.
