@POTUS promised forgiveness, not an “affordable” injustice. Fix it or resign. That’s the plan.

Just forgive the loans

Another day, another income based repayment scam attempting to cover up mass defaults. Grad loans not even included AND you get a giant tax bill at the end of your "forgiveness". Nobody's falling for it anymore just #CancelStudentDebt

It’s not broken. 🤦🏼‍♂️ What’s broken, are the exuberant costs colleges charge per credit. It’s not an education system, it’s a big business & it runs a for profit model. Banks & federal interest rates are an area that can be restructured. After all, isn’t it in the best interest of all banks, & federal government to assist students, as they become employees within this country? Options: Cap all student loans at a small administrative interest rate. When an American citizen is born in the US. The US Drops $500 in their social security account, and allow it to generate interest, allow parents to fund it as well. When they graduate high school, allow that money to be used as training & education.

SAVE doesn’t fix the decades of lies and mismanagement from the servicers under ED’s watch. GTFO with this.

@SecCardona with all due respect, you DO need to apologize. Fix the joint spousal loan consolidation mess. Despite @POTUS signing PL 117-200 into law 10/11/22, you delayed implementation to late 2024 at the earliest & won’t hold servicers like @Nelnet to account. @SC_DoUsPart
