She should have just stopped right there!!! Instead, she made the fatal mistake of driving forward, clipping him and he fired. If common sense was used. 1. She would have not impeded traffic 2. She would not have obstructed federal officers conducting an investigation. 3. She would not have disregarded a lawful order 4. She would not have used her car to force her way out of that situation she put herself into. 5. She would have stayed home She failed at exercising basic common sense at every phase.

If you haven't read this book, I cant recommend it enough!
