we are working on OpenControl - a library that uses AI to finally solve the headache of internal tooling idea is simple - define a set of tools in code that can reference functions from your codebase or anywhere else these tools get deployed to your infra (runs anywhere,... show more

opencontrol tools sit alongside the rest of your code so it's easy to expose any functionality you already have can see here i'm exposing the db connection my app already is using and also an Inventory.record function i imported just have to describe what they do

when deployed opencontrol exposes these tools using standardized protocols so various clients can orchestrate them - claude code/desktop, cursor - we'll eventually have a built in UI here's claude code answering my questions about our inventory at @terminaldotshop

this runs in your own infra so no burden in figuring out how to give it access to your resources opencontrol will support giving your team access through oauth (login with your team's google account) and permissions around which tools can be used

it's super early but you can give our repo a star here and track progress we're working on a way to allow people to contribute to a library of tools people can easily copy paste into their code base of course there will be an SST component

This is the biggest productivity cheat code right now. Kiss reading documents goodbye. You can get an instant summary of any document with this tool.

so essentially @useinterval but for AI, right?

@useinterval yeah they were the inspiration for the idea

This is really cool, but you remembering to play it off like it's connected to dev was the highlight of the video.

82 users, most haven't placed orders only adam did sad

"move our internal operations to this" so this is how Adam gets let go

Cool name. I assume it's a closed-source, for-profit company?

i assume you're joking but if you're not familiar with our work everything we do is 100% open source and runs on your own infra
