Water Filtration systems are being installed, field hospitals being built and donated, shelters being built, evacuations being done along a list of other efforts. The private sector has been working with the Govt and the NGOs have not only been very helpful but also commended the response of the GoJ publicly for our response mechanism within 6 days. Building back will require something that unfortunately many Jamaicans are foreign to and that is the concept of unity. Trying to set the Govt and the opposition at each other for engagement is NOT the way. In closing, I want to share this with ALL Jamaicans. Our anthem speaks of Unity above all. We can’t let school fees hinder our children’s future. Every parish should have access to free education without financial barriers. The NRM's vision was to ensure every child could learn without the burden of fees, and we must return to that principle. I am happy with our training programs at the hub, but we are going to expand them to include motor vehicle engineering and ICT.
