got 10K signatures on their petition for #SuicideEducation in #schools. Govt said it would consider "whether" to act. They got 170K signatures. @educationgovuk still said "whether". In the new National Strategy, it's still "whether".

Of course, there must be engagement with all key stakeholders #education specialists; #SuicidePrevention specialists; #schools #teachers #parents #pupils #students #YoungPeople before deciding precisely what/how/who but surely we're past "whether"?!

In these panel discussion events & other forums, we're always asked precisely what would be in the #schools curriculum, how it would be 'taught' (or facilitated) & who would 'deliver' it (or 'facilitate' it). Once the Govt accepts that we need it, we can discuss these details.
