Drew was literally taking Melody to the end and taking her off the block during Devens HOH if he weren’t originally nominated. Why on Gods green earth would she put up her #1 ally and trust Taylor and Yash after they JUST played in her face and blindsided her to keep Dee the week prior?? Taylor even confirmed that she was gonna vote Drew out. If Yash was still here, he could’ve beat Drew in the vetos and never in a million years was he gonna use it on Drew or Melody. Yall are just mad!

I completely understand why Melody didn’t want to put Drew at risk, especially after Yash and Taylor had just given her reasons not to fully trust them. I’m not saying nominating Drew would’ve been an easy decision at all. I just think what keeps bothering me is that her main goal seemed to be getting an Icon out, and once Devens won veto, putting Drew up may have been the best way to preserve the votes to make that happen. If Yash and Taylor keep Drew, Dee goes. If they don’t, then yes, Melody loses someone who was important to her game…so I absolutely understand the fear there. I just wonder whether protecting Drew was worth giving him the power to decide between Yash and Dee, especially when that ended with Yash leaving and both Icons surviving her HOH. I don’t think it was an obviously bad move in the moment; I just think it’s fair to question whether the safer personal move worked against the bigger goal of her HOH.

People need to realize this WAS her best move, if drew went out there she was entirely alone in the house. yes, she subsequently evicted, but that was just an unlucky HoH, and Veto draw.
