PIC Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Kabelo Rikhotso informed #SCOPA that the #PIC injected R250 million into #Daybreak Foods earlier this year and, just a week ago, used its own balance sheet to inject an additional R150 million into the company. He said Daybreak Foods is a business that, under normal circumstances, can generate an annual turnover of approximately R3.2 billion to R3.4 billion. If well managed, it should deliver a profit after tax of about R300 million to R400 million per year.

Now do India. We have 5 million engineers. At his numbers, that's $250–500 billion a year in inference — and every rupee of it leaves the country, because we make neither the chips nor the models. India's whole crude oil bill is about $130 billion.

Biden managed to time the oil market to perfection… 🛢️ In 2022 Biden released 180 million barrels of oil from the strategic reserves at an average price of $95 per barrel. 🛢️ In July 2023 when oil was $67 per barrel, he began to refill the reserve. 🛢️ Biden made about $30 per barrel profit on approx 200 million barrels which totals $5-6 billion that goes to the US treasury.

We could have funded this across the country. How about in Connecticut? They have paid family leave. It was $450 million a year. And it is $5 million to start up. Put that against the $50 billion. It is a no brainer. What about one more in New Mexico. It costs $1.5 billion for free college. We could do that 20 times over with the $50 billion that we've spent.
