They both seems to understand well that it's not appropriate to greet an African by kissing his cheeks. No racism here,only mutual understanding on their cultural defferences and values.

If the other bishops were French or Italian, this is the way they greet one another. They put their hands on his shoulders to indicate a kiss. As someone born in the Uk, I would not appreciate a cardinal doing this to me, which is why you see the black bishop putting out his hand and the other bishop look down as he shakes it.
