It was never meant to be. Bleach’s always been more about the abilities, the transformations, and the sheer supernatural chaos than pure sword fights. That doesn’t mean Bleach doesn’t have good sword choreography when it needs it

Sword fight doesnt even work in bleach because most of the sword user is on ichigos team and they fight niggas like this

The closest Sword fight we get are Shinigami vs Shinigami like Ichigo vs Byakuya and Ichigo vs Aizen. And all of the Arrancar before releasing. Although Grimmjow is more physical than swordmaster.

Respectfully, this isnt helping Bleach's case. Bleach NEVER had good choreography. Not bad, but certainly nothing to brag about.

This fight was SOO fucking good. The only thing I dislike about Bleach, is not giving characters like Hisagi morr screen time/more lore. His Shikai is so fuckin' dope, both in name & look. He's also one of the early OG lieutenents in regards to like Renji, Kira, Momo & so on.

bleach is ability base. back then no one was making panels half assed slashes. the manga was the main product so of course everything had to be done with characters using abilities. this new gen of anime 'fans' are just: cool animation fans.

I would agree, you have a good sequence here and there but Bleach goes the way of One Piece, just one giant swing or super move after the other for the most part. No one is mistaking it for Rurouni Kenshin or Demon Slayer 😅
