Hi, Israeli here. A ceasefire means my children will face another brutal war in a few years, or even a repeat of October 7th. That is not a reality either of us will accept here in Israel. No ceasefire until Hamas and Hezbollah are destroyed and all the hostages are returned.

Wouldn’t it be peace in the region quicker if Hamas and Hezbollah laid down their arms and released hostages, and stopped shooting at Israel? And when it comes to southern Lebanon, the IDF is doing the one thing the UN, more specifically UNIFIL can’t do - disarming Hezbollah.

Then why don't you adress the people that DISRUPT the peace?! Unless of course you think Israel is disrupting the peace by simply existing, than at least have the courage to say it!
