There is a moment in every man's life where the question is not what is strategic, not what is convenient, not what is politically comfortable, the question is simply, what is right and what is wrong. These sources did not step forward for fame. They stepped forward because they believed in something greater than themselves. They infiltrated one of the most brutal regimes in the Western Hemisphere. Their families — including children — are now being hunted because they chose to stand on the right side of history. I agree with my senator Rand Paul that banning TikTok is an infringement on our first amendment rights. 170 million people and businesses across America use the app for advertising - political content- to just people sharing their everyday life. Many believe that because it is owned by the Chinese that we are compromised. Are we compromised by the clothing on our backs - by the phones we are on- by the many electronics we use in our homes daily. Most apps ( including this one) often share data. The ban is far more sinister than what the government was you to know. If we allow such a ban - where would it stop 🧐
