Dear Felix Kwakye Ofosu alias Salome, thanks for reminding us that the fight against Galamsey is not and cannot be a collective one. It is the sole responsibility of the President and his government to get this menace eradicated. Tell your incompetent boss to stop calling on Ghanaians for support and do what he has been elected to do for and on behalf of the Ghanaian citizens!

This was the state of River pra in 2016, under John Dramani Mahama, Hon. Dompreh Was absolutely right. The NDC destroyed our water bodies than anyone. I didn’t want the galamsey fight to be politicized but yesterday on the floor of parliament, Cassiel Ato Forson (PhD) politicized it when he tried to put across that, this NPP Government has supervised the destruction of our water bodies, thankfully, Hon. Dompreh being very familiar with what actually happened under John Mahama argued that, it’s a total lie to say we’ve destroyed more water bodies because John Mahama and his NDC destroyed the water bodies than what’s happening under this current Government. The sad part is, under NDC nothing was done to stop galamsey but under NPP, galamseyers were arrested and some galamsey equipments burned to ashes but sadly, NDC on the hand goes to promise these galamseyers to vote against NPP because they (NDC) will let them do more galamsey to destroy our water bodies even more, NDC has politicized galamsey and that’s why we’ve still not being able to fully win against the galamsey fight.
