Since October 7th, Jewish students across college campuses have been exposed to some of the most horrific and disgusting antisemitism we have seen. Benjamin Meppen, a Jewish student at New York University studying film, decided to document what Jewish life in New York City has looked like since October 7th and submit this short film as his final project. She doesn't want to get harassed, chased or yelled at, irrespective of what she's saying. No Jewish public official should have to decide whether participating in civic life is worth the risk of being targeted because they're Jewish. Thank you, Attorney General Nessel, for speaking so candidly at today's roundtable with Jewish Michiganders about the impact that antisemitism has had not only on your community, but on you personally. And thank you to all those who shared their experiences.

🚨Arizona has officially become the first state to ban college encampments Governor Katie Hobbs has become the first Governor in the US to take action and ensure that my Bipartisan legislation became law! I am grateful for all our support: The Rabbis, the Jewish community organizations and leaders, and most importantly, the students who trusted me. Arizona is leading the way. Antisemitism will not be tolerated on our college campuses. People have the right to protest, but they do not have the right to disrupt the learning of other students or intimidate Jewish students who are trying to get to class. It meant the world to hear a student tell me that he was grateful I wore a kippah in Congress because it inspired him to lean in on the fight. We won’t be bullied into submission. I hope more Jewish students feel empowered to stand up for themselves and speak out against antisemitism on college campuses.
