🎉🥳WE DID IT!! Today the #RegulatetheRogues Bill passed its final stage in Parliament – a huge campaign win! This Bill will improve the lives of thousands of people living in poor quality exempt accommodation run by rogue landlords. Watch and share the good news.🧵 [1/6]

[2/6] We’ve backed the Supported Housing Bill to protect people in exempt accommodation and drive out rogue providers that are exploiting residents and undermining the good providers that make a positive impact on people’s lives.

[3/6] Our campaigners have contacted their MPs, written to Ministers, got loud on social media to raise awareness and helped keep the pressure on politicians to back the Bill – and we are so grateful for the impact they have made.

[4/6] In April the Bill went to the Lords. A Minister there commented it was “one of the most important Bills to come through here in a long time”

[5/6] And today, the bill had its third reading in the Lords and was passed without amendment. Next stop – Royal Assent, which is when it formally becomes law!

[6/6] None of it would have been possible without the commitment of our supporters who stood with people like Wayne, Ian, Richard and Hannah as they bravely shared their own experiences of exempt accommodation. Thank you all!🙌🥳🎉🎊🎆
