According to Ryan Reynolds, the '80s were so awful that we had to cover it up with puppy dogs and rainbows thanks to cocaine and Tom Cruise.

I think I spent more time in movie theaters in 1984 than any other year of my life, and this montage is the evidence of why.

Can you believe all of those movies were from one year? We are lucky if there is one good movie a year now. And they still don't compare to a good movie back then.

Cinema died when it went from photo-chemical to digital. Same with the music "industry".

Ahhh.... back when most movies were original and not just reboots, sequels, and superhero movies.

We had so much to choose from and it was wonderful. The last time I went to the movies was last summer to see a movie celebrating 50 years (Jaws)! Before that, it was more than 10 years since I was in the theater. We saw Annabelle. There just aren't new movies I want to see.
