While I was in Manchester last week, I did the same thing I did in London today in between work meetings. The relatively young-in-service officers (who all look so young, or it's me getting older), are a cohort I have huge respect for. Here is a fact. Policing is not for everyone and many that apply to join do not get to the attestation stage. Some that do, drop out thereafter or do not pass. So, those that get through the training and get on our streets deserve encouragement, mentoring, and support - not ridicule. We all used to be new at something once. It was a real honour to meet those new Metropolitan Police officers as I did those from Greater Manchester Police officers, chat with, and thank them for their work. To those of you; young and not so young in service 😀 - thank you for all that you do to keep us safe all year round. Chin up. 💙

When challenged about the car repairs and services for Ukrainians, paid for by the Irish people, Simon Harris said that “people who fled here from very difficult situations” well we can see these “people” are mainly men from safe countries, but let’s go on, next he says they are making in a great contribution to our community are are working hard. Well I work hard but I don’t get ✅ Free accommodation ✅ A medical card ✅ Free Food ✅ Free Student accommodation ✅ College student grant of €10,000 per year ✅ No car tax or Irish Insurance ✅ Free car servicing and maintenance It’s a joke of a country when people like us have worked our whole lives here and we are treated like second class citizens in our own land.

“The Canadian Dream”. For those of us born here, for those of us who arrived here - it’s taken on some water, some structural damage, some scratches & dents. Wounded, but not dead. Damaged, but not destroyed. On Sir John A. MacDonald’s 210th birthday, it’s worth noting he belongs in our history books, in our school curriculum, for all he endeavoured to achieve, & all that he did accomplish. Canada should celebrate him, & all that was built for us, by him, & others, in the decades that followed. We always have to have thoughtful & respectful & transparent discussions about our history - accomplishments & drawbacks, but the point is we MUST have them. Signed, A Proud 21st-Century Canadian

We did a lot of work together. I would love to maybe revisit some of those and see what could work. But I’m always going to be down to work with Kanye. He’s a genius. He’s just on another level of creativity. I love working with him.”
