Andy Burnham should not even be in parliament, never mind Prime Minister. Every single Fabian responsible must be fully investigated and anyone found facilitating an invasion of Britain must be held to account for high treason.

it literally should be the opposite, if you don't have National Security, you don't have any other form of security

Tories cut Defence by £90bn. Had 2 Foreign Secretaries who took donations from Russians close to Putin. Badenoch praised Milei as a 'template ' for her Govt. Not in a good position to criticise Labour here.

You globalist clowns hollowed out and betrayed the military, deindustrialised and defensively weakened us through China First Net Zero plus refused to defend our borders against rubber boats- you have no right to an opinion on defence.

The ballooning welfare budget that's less than 1% larger as a percentage of GDP, than it was under Thatcher... Are you suggesting Thatcher loved a bit of welfare spending?

In 3 years the welfare budget will increase from £330bn to £400bn that increase is greater than the annual amount we spend on Defence for a year. Only a 21.2% increase over the 3 years. What other government budgets get that much?

I’m an ex lifelong Tory voter, but the levels of tax, debt, welfare and size of the state all escalated under you guys - until you recognise and atone for this, how do you expect me to return to the fold?

FYB saying today from sources at Lossiemouth and Marham that their meagre infrastructure budgets being spent already for the FY means there’s no hot water on the bases. How are we supposed to fight a war when we can’t provide hot water to permanent bases?!

So protected welfare spending for wasters, cheats, illegal immigrants and spongers over defence. Hard working British people will be asked to pay more to fund people that do not contribute under the Labour government at the next budget. Use your vote when the opportunity arises.

Just as long as you understand 1 thing. Should War ever come, MPs of age, or your children, should be first to go. Would be a tad hypocritical to ask those your willing to sacrifice, to then fight for you. Can't have it both ways....

We can all remember what you actually did in power. Where you hollowed out defence and massively increased welfare. You’re the same.

This corrupt Labour party will try everything to cling on to power They wouldn't dare upset the non working Muslims & British white folk who get far more money on "welfare" than they could if they actually went to work For example 36% of Pakistanis dont work aged 16-64 YouGov

“We’ll do everything for national security”—except fund it when the choice becomes difficult. Defence by slogan, welfare by blank cheque. The threats are real; Burnham’s priorities clearly aren’t. #PMQs #NationalSecurity #Defence #UKPolitics

He's risking social security. Do think people on welfare will fight if things did kick off...no they won't, they'd be exempt. The army will take working people. Less taxes and worse social security would follow. It's all bullshit.

My time in Joint Warfare, PJHQ, 2010-13; and my last 4 yrs after that, across several security agencies, tells me you lot haven't a leg to stand on ref defence. Enough hot-air to fill a 1000 balloons.

Why can’t politicians just answer simple questions about their job? Sophy Ridge asked Defence Secretary Wes Streeting a straightforward question he should have been ready for. You’d expect the person in charge of defence to have a clear position on the spending target for his own department, yet he repeatedly dodged it. She asked if he agreed with his predecessor John Healey, who said he was certain Britain should reach 3% of GDP on defence by 2030: “Are you also certain about 3% of GDP by 2030? Is that a target?” Streeting: “I endorsed John Healey’s resignation letter wholeheartedly at the time. What you will see from Andy Burnham and John Healey as prime minister and chancellor is a commitment to make sure the defence investment plan is fully funded.” That’s not an answer. Sophy cut in: “I’m going to have to come in again. You are the Defence Secretary, do you believe in the target of spending 3% of GDP on defence by 2030?” He again referred back to agreeing with Healey and then talked at length about setting out “what we will fund and how we will fund it.” Still no direct answer. Clearly frustrated, Sophy tried once more: “I’m not asking you to set out how you’re going to fund it. I’m asking, do you believe in the target that we should be spending 3% by 2030?” His reply? He wouldn’t answer because the next question would be about how to fund it. That is a ridiculous reason to refuse a basic question about your own brief. Just answer it. Absolutely pathetic.
