Nick Ferrari is spot on. “As soon as the going gets tough in the United Kingdom we just stop!” During past heatwaves, kids had lessons outside in the fields. Now schools shut at the first sign of sun. Ferrari called it “a shocking lesson to our schoolchildren”. He’s right. How do they manage in Africa and India? They don’t shut everything down just because it’s warm. This meltdown over a few warm days is ridiculous. Get on with it man! We’re teaching the next generation that as soon as things get a little difficult, we just give up. Not good!

After a year of resisting our calls to ban smartphones in schools Labour have finally listened & u-turned. They were wrong to dismiss it as an unnecessary gimmick. This will give teachers the backing they need and it is a huge win for behaviour & attainment in schools.

We are at the Reds complex and it’s just a shame that they have holes in the infield and they fill it with sand. One of our guys got a severe ankle sprain. It’s been 100–1 10 and no water is provided. There’s no reason for that. That’s a safety deal. Had to give the home plate Umpire my electrolyte drinks. Happy to do it as he was going to pass out.

These women rented an Airbnb, the owner of the home demanded a $500 security deposit. The women reluctantly agree and they ask the owner if they will get the money back after they leave. The women clarify, and ask him if they will get the full amount they put down and if it worked as a true security deposit. The owner said no, they would only get some of it back because he uses the security deposit he charges to pay for the utilities that they consume, mainly electricity and gas. The women feel like they are being scammed and only want to pay for the day they were in it instead of an extended visit as they originally planned. If we stay at a hotel, we pay one price for the room, they don’t charge us for the water for showers and electricity to charge our phones. While this is obviously from a Southern perspective, it has become the perspective of all Americans as all of our homelands— birthplaces, neighborhoods and the burial grounds of our forefathers— have been mercilessly invaded by a foreign horde who regard it all as a dot on the map to which they can come to get free stuff while transforming it into the hellhole they came from. Every tree in which we climbed and carved our names stands in the way of a new housing development. Every stream in which we swam and fished is a dumping ground. And every town square is ripe for a third world bazaar. These people will never care like we do. It is not their home, they are not Americans, and they never will be. And they have to go back.

As part of our Plan for Change, we want to learn from special schools and spread their expertise across the schools system, whilst ensuring they are able cater to children with the most complex needs – restoring parents’ trust that their child will get the right support at a good, local school.
