"We do useful essential work for the government that we compete for & win contracts because our product is much better & costs less. That's why we get government contracts” Total value of all govt incentives received by Tesla and SpaceX is less than 2% of their combined value.

ELON: THE IDEA THAT SPACEX IS SUBSIDIZED IS A COMPLETE MISUNDERSTANDING Tucker Carlson: “You've got to be one of the biggest government contractors?” Elon: We do essential work for the government. We do useful essential work that we compete for and win contracts on because our product is much better and costs less. That's why we get government contracts. If you take, for example, the NASA contract to transport astronauts to and from the Space Station, NASA awarded two contracts at the start, one to Boeing and one to SpaceX. Boeing was awarded twice as much as SpaceX. SpaceX has done all the astronaut transport from the space station, and Boeing has only done one transport of two astronauts to the space station, and we have to bring them back. Boeing got twice as much as SpaceX! There's this total misunderstanding that my companies have been subsidized and supported by the government.” Source: Interview with Tucker Carlson, October 2024

Some people criticize all the government contracts SpaceX gets, but the Pentagon said that SpaceX has saved the government over $40B. One SLS launch costs billions. One SpaceX launch costs less than $75M. SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell on SpaceX's $22B in gov contracts: "We earned that. We bid it, we were the lowest price, best bidder, we won and we execute. It's not a bad thing to serve the U.S. government with great capability and products." The people complaining that SpaceX's gov contracts were "wasteful" really have no clue what they are talking about. Starship (video below) will take savings to a new level and open up incredible opportunities.

Do you really think that a Biden administration is going to subsidize me? Probably not. Are you kidding? No. In fact, they take away every contract they possibly can. So, for example, there was the FCC $42 billion contract for providing rural broadband. We actually first said, look, we think there shouldn't be any subsidies, so we recommend that this program just not exist. But since you're insisting that it exist, we will compete and we have better products. So we won, I don't know about a quarter of it, which would have included the devastated areas like North Carolina and stuff. And the FCC took it away illegally. They just voted three out of five commissioners voted away and said, even though you won it, we're rescinding it. On what grounds? And do you know how many people they've connected? Zero. So you think that was political? Well, the three Democrats voted against it. And the two Republicans voted for it.” Source: Interview with Tucker Carlson, October 7, 2024

How can we justify cutting the budget for teachers while ministers and deputy ministers enjoy blue lights? Is educating our children less important than the comfort of government officials? Is our future less important than perks for ministers?

Rob Baron Says Elon Musk Will Bring the Efficiency of Tesla & SpaceX to the U.S. Government “The government wanted to send people back and forth to the International Space Station…So they gave two contracts — one to Boeing for $4.3B and a year later to SpaceX for $2.1B. SpaceX has since been back and forth 40 times. Boeing got there once and they couldn’t get their guys back. We had to go rescue them…Get rid of cost-plus contracts.” Elon Musk

We just heard that Defence has a whopping 54 contracts with PwC for a total value of $223,299,943.56. Given the sensitive nature of information inside Defence and the known issues with PwC this is deeply concerning.

#BREAKING: Psaki: “Now, the origin story of how we got here is very worth remembering because part of the reason Elon Musk’s companies were able to become so successful in the first place, is because they received a ton of government subsidies, investments, and contracts, and that money was especially crucial to Musk’s companies in their earliest days, when their success was far from a sure bet. Without a critical taxpayer funded investment during a very precarious time for Tesla, it may not have survived at all. And likewise, the financing and contracts that SpaceX received from the federal government in its early years, were absolutely VITAL to making it the company it has now become. So the federal government that Musk took his chainsaw to, was the SAME federal government that enabled that guy to become the world’s richest man by the massive margin we see today.” 🤔

SMMEs must get a bigger share of government spending not less than 20% of 2.6 trillion budget. Government contracts below 10 million must be set aside for SMME. PIC must invest in majority black owned companies. Currently out of the 3.8 trillion rands held by the PIC, less than 200 billion is invested in black owned companies.

We need less than 5% of Kenyans conscious for the Revolution. We need less than 1% to breach ikulu & topple the illegitimate child killing regime. All of us are fed up, the "mourning" is hype manufactured by the state, political orphans & githeri media. #OccupyStatehouseNow

The effort undertaken by Department of Government Efficiency and Elon Musk is one of the most important of my lifetime and I am committed to not letting the bureaucracy slow it down. We need to get the costs under control; we need to get government efficiency under control; and we need to make the government work better for the American people. At Treasury Department we’re committed to doing that.

Neil deGrasse Tyson: “There’s an intellectual scientific vacuum that is descending upon the US and that has consequences. If you’re okay with the US losing its scientific leadership, you will get the country you voted for. That country is one where we will no longer innovate. We will be less secure, less healthy, and less wealthy because some community of people who influence what this country is do not see the value of science”

James Talarico: “Trickle-down economics is not a theory, it is theft. They have been stealing the wealth that we all created. It’s why everything sucks right now. We have an affordability crisis because we have a corruption crisis. We don’t have a government of, by, and for the people. We have a government of, by, and for the billionaires”
