We don’t actually know what we want… we just know what we think will make us feel something.

Eugene O'Neill: "the least sophisticated way to live one's life is through the accumulation of material things" It's important people live a life of meaning - making the world a better place. That requires a little more imagination, but is truly rewarding.

Pessimistic outlook. It depends what goals you set for yourself. Some are very rewarding. They permit you to achieve better things in life. I regret nothing. Do not discourage people. Some goals are good to achieve. Keep the hope and find what you REALLY want. That's all! 😉 LMA

and you can want those things, but your why or outcome has to be something measurable, meaningful or predictable, in your control I could want a red Ferrari for superficial reasons and it’ll never hit that spot but a 94 red corvette ttop like my dad’s when I was a kid…that’s gonna hit every time my default is to refer to the past to figure out what’s next, easier to build on what’s already there because im not aging to become a different person, im the same me, just older and wiser so I start with what I already know

Carl Jung: " without wishing it, we become entangled in the great principles of life." This journey will lead us on a path to understanding God, and grasping universal truths we are supposed to learn during our lifetime. Embrace it!

The gap between clown and prophet is thinner than we admit, both wear costumes, both need a crowd.

In a world of survival (since the beginning of time), ultimately what we all have ever wanted is peace. Peace of mind to be exact.

You’re right, Trevor. We are being fed "feelings" to keep us from looking at the facts. ⚖️⚙️ In France, the #ConsultingState has mastered the art of making us "feel" like we are progressing while they dismantle our industry behind the scenes. They give us social media polemics and cultural debates to trigger our emotions, so we don't notice that our Ministry of Industry has been swallowed by accountants. We feel outraged by corporate profits, but we don't feel the slow death of our factories because it doesn't make a good headline. Sovereignty isn't a feeling; it’s the cold, hard reality of being able to build what you need. It’s time we stop chasing the "vibe" and start chasing the steel. The Forge doesn't care about feelings- it only cares about what’s left when the fire goes out. 🛡️🇫🇷 »

Oh I know what I want. I want a government that doesn't take money from another country. I want a government that doesn't act like celebrities but like the civil servants they are. I want to know when I wake up in the morning that morons haven't gotten us into another War.

The void or the emptiness can only be filled by.... God... His son....the life Adam lost in Eden created that emptiness. Material wealth cannot fill that space. That's man's quest but he actually doesn't know what he's looking for.... it's the righteousness of God

It’s why Jim Carrey said he wished everyone got a rich lifestyle so they could see for themselves that it ain’t what they think it is…it’s not good for us to always be satisfied, we want to be in a constant state of euphoria…drug addicts

Love Trevor, but what he's saying isn't something groundbreaking, at least in our awful consumerist society...

Not emptiness as such, but it depends on how different pple are wired differently. Some get that contentment, satisfaction & start seeing God as the reason why they achieved all this. And of course some might feel emptiness, divorce, drinking and doing all sorts of things.DIFFERENT.

No mas is from the Leonard and Duran fight in the 80’s btw. It’s not necessarily a boxing term when they take a knee. Duran quit the fight saying “no mas” (no more) but he claims he never said that 🤷🏾‍♂️ (I remember Trevor asking during the podcast about no mas)

Getting rich too soon in life can be a problem. Clearly it makes you feel empty. But that's not true for the rest of the world who work hard for their objective. People grow when they reach up for things they know they like. Their likes change as their circumstances.
