I have no issues with a Nation State that favors one race. All countries should be exactly that. There are a million reasons to despise them but this isn't one of them.

As far as what a nation chooses to be, I don't have an issue with a nation choosing to be a democracy, or choosing to be nationalist, etc, but there is definitely some blatant hypocrisy here when leaders say "I am X. You cannot be X." Even the Left called that out decades ago.
