This problem can be traced to a colonial education system imposed on the continent centuries ago which was never intended to uplift or “civilize” its people, but make them easier to exploit. When the European colonizer “left” Africa in the Decade of Independence, he left his colonial education system behind, in the care of his puppets. Rwanda is and has always been a Nation State from its conception. There has never been any “tribes” inside that nation, only One Nation of the Banyarwanda.
