In the 1980’s all grocery stores stopped using paper bags because we all were going go save the trees… Then we went to thin plastic that we all reused 1000 times… Then thicker plastic, then paper or plastic. Well now we are back to paper. We've come full circle in 40 years.

She’s at Target and can’t believe you can just get a plastic bag and a plastic straw Not only that, you aren’t charged for the plastic bags In California there is a full state-wide ban on plastic bags and everyone must pay 10 cents for plastic bags to carry their items. Plastic straws are also banned because of ‘the environment’ In Florida there is no statewide ban or fee on plastic bags or straws. You get free plastic bags at stores like Target, and plastic straws are readily available

Carlos on if the tape stuck to his tyre affected his Q3: “I think we picked up a plastic leaving the pits and the tyres caught the whole plastic. I spent four or five corners trying to get rid of the plastic and then I think that plastic damaged the bodywork and the team managed to repair it, but just putting another plastic on top basically. I don't know if we were downforce down or not. They will let me know now in the debrief how much it really impacted us. But for sure it's not ideal to start a Q3 with an issue like that. It puts you a bit under pressure and a bit in chaos everywhere, but we managed to recover well.”

I feel like the industry is making too big of a jump and trying to pretend that this is amazing, but it's not. It's slop, and I think they are not coming to terms with it. Maybe they are trying to fundraise or something like that, I'm not sure what's going on. We are at this intermediate stage. The models are amazing, but they still need a lot of work for now.
