Actually, it was an evil heart of unbelief (Hebrews 3) that kept them from the Promised Land. But I get it. Complaining is a symptom of unbelief.

I am only human and I know how much people who complain around me drain my mental energy.

What if complaining is honest? Why wouldnt I let God know how I feel?

Didn't Job complain? 😕 Didn't God say he honored him because he kept his faith? Didn't God rebuke him, then bring back his health riches and so on? Complaining isn't a sin. Complaining about what God has done for you might be.

God doesn’t want us to do things that aren’t good for us and complaining is negative and it brings you down to a darker place and the energy you give off & impacts other people around you …in other words it kind of ruins your day… give thanks, praise God

I’m actually not much of a complainer but I’m definitely not complaining at this point of my life. I’m asking God to lead me in everything and I trust what he has for me.

The ONLY sin is unbelief. As such, if you pray, and don't believe, your prayer is a sin. If you sing, and don't believe, your worship is a sin. If you preach, and don't believe, your sermon is a sin.
