I think she was winking at Rictus. Cait was almost out cold, facedown on the ground.

Why would she be winking at rictus it makes more sense that she’s winking at cait and she was not knocked out cold

I never thought of her as saving Caityn - she was saving Vander, and wsd closing an eye as she fired at Rictus. Caitiyn being there was incidental, Caitlyn could just as easily been the target.
