his showboating ass got him in trouble😭😭😭

"Why do they always have to...count so slow?" Cherokee is the realest in the whole damn movie 😃😆🤣 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I like this movie more than sinners

This movie rode through town and no one noticed it. It deserved and still deserves attention.

I swear this pissed my right off. 😂 I paused it and went outside.

During the time of its release we all were talking about it. But just like a lot of good black led movies or movies period they lose relevance fast. We don’t appreciate cinema like we did in the 20th century and early 2000s.

Because it sucked. Had all the potential in the world and some great actors. But the movie fell so incredibly short.

Style. Substance. Pure Cinema. From the saturated colors of the town of Redwood to that incredible opening sequence, Jeymes Samuel gave us a Western that felt like a living, breathing music video. And the casts? …. every single performance was magnetic. The coolest cast in Western history. Period.

Lol… well, he told him before stop talking so much and just shoot. His friends told him before to stop all that fancy fancy and just shoot. Nobody waiting for you to finish showboating in a gun fight.

My favorite Western film.

@StepbackPapi YN got cheated! I was so mad at the scene!

He knew he was faster so he had to take the advantage

Movie was mad on every scene They really did a great job there💯

Netflix has so many damn movies I can't keep up. Watched this last week on a whim an fucking loved it. A certified banger.

There’s lines in this movie I day dream about. It was beautifully written

One of my first big stunt jobs. Had a great time working on this film and learned a lot forever grateful for that opportunity.

That shit blew my mind. Awesome flick

Man thar shit made me so mad. He cheated my boy

It’s my best cowboy movie

😭😭This had me so shaken

@mikeyjae777 They slid for him right on the spot..they laid everybody down after Beckworth got killed.

This movie was super corny and over rated

He was the coolest mf in the movie

Couldn’t get through that shit. It wasn’t good.

🤔 Fun Fact: Almost all the main characters in the movie are based on real people from the Old West. For instance, Nat Love and Stagecoach Mary actually existed, but the story is a "fictional reunion" because the director wanted these Black heroes to finally have the cinematic epic history denied them. Historical lore with style to spare! 🐎✨ Did you know? 🤯

this scene hurt my heart fr

This movie was too ahead of it’s time it’s one of them jawns ppl won’t mess wit til later on they was trying to cancel my boy at the time

The boy was damm good and fast but he played too much in the real battle and that got him killed..I mean, kids never listen I was so angry! The movie was good regardless

The cowboy aesthetic really has so much aura kinda mad we don’t dress like that no more

great movie, under-appreciated

I liked that the majority of characters are REAL black people from the Old West. The twist at the end was cool too.

Funny how both of them were brothers/friends in book of Clarence and the chemistry was insane😅

He cheated the count . I’m still mad about it

No one ever picks up on the point that in the opening scene when they are breaking Idris character from the train, he is upset because his countdown is interrupted, even saying to Regina King character that he loves a countdown. He shot Beckworth was because he was scared
