The best thing Jinnah did was to convert to Sunni Islam from the cult of Ismaili Shiaism. Critics say he had personal goals in advocating for Pakistan (ie also Bangladesh). Nevertheless it was a noble pursuit as we see what's happening to the Muslims of India.
