We eventually found the one thing Larry liked. Chicken. At the start he would only eat it from us if he was hand fed. This went on for weeks (4/8)

4 months ago I came around the corner and found a big skinny dog called Larry. He wasn’t well. Larry has been one of the most unusual rescues I’ve had but today he got the greatest news a street dog could ever wish for (1/8) 🧵

There was clearly something very wrong with Larry. He wouldn’t eat and his energy was low. Locals said he was just wandering around aimlessly for weeks (2/8)

Larry was acting very strange and he refused to eat. All he ever wanted to do was be as close to a human as possible. (3/8)

Larry went to 5 different vets and a hospital. Every single test came back perfect. We eventually figured out Larry was just a special dog. He thrives when around people and is so easy going. (5/8)

Larry started eating better and he just loves his humans. You can see how he filled out. Despite all that we had very little interest in him. Understandable given his strange was. But then he got his lucky break… (6/8)

A lady in England had spotted him. We were very particular with Larry’s requirements as he is a bit odd and we were scared he could be lonely or have other issues. She would like to come and pick him up. Larry will also be going to the pub it sounds like (7/8)

This was big Larry getting the good news today. Proof that there is the right home out there for all dogs. I’m over the moon for him. He’s a big gentle giant 🥰🙏 (8/8)
