It is illegal for immigrants to for instance sell brooms. No visa for such & the conduct is variance with the law. An immigrant who wants to conduct business in SA must have a business visa. It has its own requirements. This is not about taking jobs but obeying the law.

That's a strange argument to make, but ok. Just because YOU won't do something doesn't mean other South Africans won't. If you're too proud to do certain work, unwilling to learn new skills, or unwilling to take risks, that's YOUR choice as an individual. You don't get to project that onto millions of other people. If someone can arrive here with little to no money, support and no political power, yet still find ways to earn an income and succeed in life, then clearly it can be done.😂And funny enough that puts a damper on the whole land issue😂. The problem isn't that South Africans are incapable. It's that different people make different choice and so the results will be different. What's ironic is that politicians spend years telling people that the private sector, entrepreneurs, and capitalism are what's holding them back. Yet the very behaviour they're praising in illegal immigrants is the same behaviour they condemn in SAn business owners and self-made people taking risks, identifying opportunities, working long hours, and creating value where none existed before, BUT, they only do so coz of skin color, (incase you didn't know the grift) You can't tell people that success comes from ownership, initiative, and productive efforts, then attack those same principles coz certain citizens practice them. And if illegal immigration also increases competition for low-skilled jobs and informal trade, who do you think feels that pressure first? Wealthy people, or poor South Africans trying to get started themselves? If the argument is that illegal immigrants should be allowed to stay coz they're here already and they're productive, then what exactly prevented them from being productive in their own countries? if its their governments, then what allows them to succeed in THIS country?
