We found this Longnosed Stargazer on our intertidal walk right here in Singapore and it was TOO crazy-looking!!! It was half buried and half watching the world drift by with its pair of googly eyes that I guess, gazes at stars. It sits and waits for unsuspecting prey to... show more

We played with Texas for a half on the road in front of a crowd of 10,993 people. It was a 3 point game with 2:08 remaining in the first half. A pair of second half 12-0 runs for the Longhorns put the game away as we got wore down by the size, strength, and NBA level talent of the #19 ranked team in country. It was a great environment for our student-athletes to compete in. We will continue to work in growing the HCU program as we also play nationally ranked power programs Creighton (#15) and Texas A&M (#13) this season. #DawgsUp

That was the saving grace – that people were aware that they were that young generation who were really against it. And so it worked very well for the world. And the Bed-In was just part of it, a definite part of it. It was a statement on a very theatrical level and I think it was very effective. We were artists and did it our own way. We felt very good about it then, and it was such an incredibly strange thing that we were doing. At the time it was a courageous thing to do. John was making the statement in a way that he was looking at the far, far future. I saw it in his eyes. He was saying, ‘OK this is what we’re going to do together.’ And we’re going to give peace a chance. To the world.

When the aircraft descended, it seemed it would crash, and it did crash. It then exploded. There was a massive explosion. After that, we rushed here and saw that the aircraft was on fire. There were 4-5 explosions in the aircraft again. More people came here, and they tried to pull the people out (of the aircraft). But since this was a huge fire, people could not help. Ajit Pawar was onboard and this is really painful for us. I can't describe it in words..."

And while he was monitoring himself he just started smiling. And seeing him smile like that, without me even realising it, made me happy too? Yes.. I guess I felt really proud. There were some parts where they commented and spoke in between (the songs) too, and.. I feel like that too sometimes so I understood, that feeling of being proud of himself while watching. And also, I witnessed him preparing for this so.. and while he was watching it, I was next to him and he was just like…(imitates him looking down at the phone with a proud smile)… smiling. And I thought, ’Ah, thankfully he must be satisfied with how it came out.’ And so I was like that (smiling) too while watching, it was nice to see him like that #성화 #윤호

🔗: my duet with 🎭. i was looking through like- god i gotta find a cute duet song and i was looking and looking for ages, and then i found this song and i was like "oh shit, this is so cute and we can get little paper cups telephone as a prop in the song" so we went with that 🔗: we cant just do nothing while out here with the phones so we came up with these goofy dance moves, we just going back and forth with the hands up and down 🔗: 🎭 was perfect for that song. oh my god. his voice is so genki, energetic and cute i guess its really good for that song 🔗: yeah~ that was a fun time

Had some work in LA, and then I came here. But yesterday, I rode a horse for the first time. So it was an unbelievable experience." "But when I was younger, there used to be a horse that was in a field nearby, just a shy horse. And it was this beautiful horse. It was just on its own every day. So I'd go and stop, and it would come over to me, and I'd spend time [with it]. And then when I'd start walking home, I'd start to notice my allergies started kicking off. And then my breathing, I'd struggle to breathe. And I'd really, really struggle. And I didn't know that I had asthma." "Then I was, I happened to be around another horse another time, and I had an asthma attack. And it was a really scary experience, because I didn't have an inhaler or anything. So anyways, I stayed away from horses since that day. That was when I was probably like 14 or something. And I went through this desensitization program, because my allergies were crazy, particularly for hay fever in the UK. And I didn't think anything of it. I hadn't thought about it. And I did a shoot at the beginning of this year with a horse for the Time 100 magazine. And I took medication, antihistamine. But I was able to be around this horse, no problems. So yesterday, I did a shoot with a horse for Plus 44. And I was like, can I ride it? And I got on. And it was just, wow. It was an amazing experience." "The horse started moving. And it started to gallop. And I didn't know what to do in that moment. So I panicked a little bit. But it was beautiful. A #throwback to Peter’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2014, with this performance with Youssou N'Dour of 'In Your Eyes' ‘In Your Eyes’ was the first thing that I’d recorded with Youssou and it was very important for that reason. It was around the time I was going to Africa and really getting inspired by a lot of the music I was hearing there, particularly rhythmically and vocally. I’ve described Youssou’s voice as “liquid gold” and I think when he comes in singing on that track it’s just a fantastic moment.

John McTiernan on how he learnt moviemaking by watching 'Day for Night' (1972): "I remember when I decided that that's what I was going to do. I went about it like it was reverse engineering. I knew that I had to go and learn what a movie was, not just my experience of going and watching a movie. So I went and sat in Truffaut's Day for Night (1972), watched it for three days straight, eight hours at a time and memorized it shot-for-shot. I got past the story, all the original and secondary experience, so I could study what it was that I was really watching. Film is really sort of a chain that's really linear. Yet when it's all strung together, it just sort of feels like an experience. It takes quite a while to be able to deconstruct that experience to figure out what you really saw." (John McTiernan's interview with Alex Simon, The Hollywood Interview, 1999)
