From my experience, once you cop an attitude, things get much worse, and public officials will do anything to make your life hell. Even a simple stop gone wrong can set you back five years financially.

Cops like these make it harder for us to support good police. "License plate light out" is cop bullshit 101. Notice they did NOT give him a citation for that - which was the original probable cause for the stop. Like the post suggests, they went fishing for everything else under the sun and had to eventually give citations to justify their nonsense. There are real crimes being committed while these 3 cops - each making an excellent salary - spend taxpayer dollars on this crap. Do better, officers.
