Got a friend like this in Leon, he's roughly our age bracket, born and raised in Mexico, talks like a local, full slang, etc.... family came here from Taiwan in the 70s... not just parents but uncles/aunts, so he has cousins like him. They had a huge party..... why did the older folks cook up some fire chinese food... with hired mariachis in the background

I love it. I know that was a good party. I only know one full blooded Asian that was born and raised here… unfortunately she had it rough growing up in a pocket where she feels too Mexicans to really hang with Asians, but too Asian to really hang with Mexicans. So she hangs out at reggaeton venue and has slowly joined the hip hop community now that there’s a big foreign pool. Acts more American than Mexican now
