One of the most charming points about Cantarella is that you can feel an entirely different level of maturity in the way she expresses her love for Rover. Everything she does with Rover gives you the vibe of "This is grown-up stuff." She’s not Frieren. It’s not that she doesn’t trust Stark with her life, she does, but magic has always been the one thing that made her feel truly reliable and strong. Suddenly being unable to sense her magic must feel deeply unsettling and new to her. Still, I love how Stark looked at her and simply said, “I’m here.” It was quite romantic.
