The music video follows the intense rivalry of Sirius and Orion, featuring a sick track from Erra. The battle we see is between Orion, in crimson and obsidian, and Sirius, in tsavorite and silver. It’s an epic, shonen-inspired music video, blending anime-style battles with serene moments in space. It’s super FX-heavy (one of our favourite things), and we move fluidly between character and FX animation to bring this dramatic, theatrical clash to life. La Commedia dell’Arte!🩰 Entering the world of Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger’s 1948 film ‘The Red Shoes,’ a prima in her own right, Melanie Martinez plays with its ideas of art and obsession becoming inseparable. Photographed by An Le, Melanie steps into the surreal, a fitting choice for an artist whose imagination has never stopped at music. “The world tells you, ‘You’re not a filmmaker. You didn’t go to school for that.’ I really do my best to ignore all of that and just follow whatever instinct there is to create.” Like the film that inspired the story, Melanie’s relationship with her art is one of complete immersion, following the instinct to create wherever it takes her. Oleksandra Pascal is an eight-year-old gymnast who has inspired many Ukrainians to work for their dreams, no matter what obstacles they face. Oleksandra lost her leg as a result of a Russian missile attack on Zatoka in the Odesa region. After prosthetics and rehabilitation, she continues to train and perform. She took part in the Vienna Ball in Kyiv and won the gymnastics championship in Chornomorsk. The multimedia project “The Will to Win” aims to tell the story of the incredible willpower and resilience of Ukrainian athletes. The first choice for the role of Tina Carlyle in "The Mask" (1994) was Anna Nicole Smith who had agreed to do the movie and then at the last minute, backed out to do "Naked Gun 33 1⁄3: The Final Insult" (1994). Director Chuck Russell was crushed and thought that the movie shouldn't be made, but they kept looking for another actor. Since the Studio wasn't convinced of her acting ability, they made her audition 12 times. Diaz said, I was ready to have a nervous breakdown. I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep. Hey Everyone, It’s been a while. I thought to peek out a little to confirm the absolute worst kept secret - yes, The Black Book: Old Scores, is happening, with Severance producer, Nicky Weinstock, joining the team as producer. The last two years have been frenetic for me, writing what’s become my favourite script along with my friend, Bunmi Ajakaiye, and working with Nicky, Mimi, and Ashley to raise unprecedented capital for the production of this historic production, with support from, Adino Capital, Mango Tree and Blooming Caravan. The Black Book became the most successful Nigerian film globally and it was important that the sequel meets the high standards set in our 2023 film. I’m excited to say that you are going to absolutely love Old Scores. Richard Mofe-Damijo returns as Paul Edima, with Wongi Ibom as sidekick! A brand new story. New characters. New world, painted with my home state in the Niger Delta as a breathtaking backdrop. Some of your favourite characters have returned, but the new characters will absolutely blow you away. Making Old Scores was an amazing experience - the biggest Nigerian production to date, backed by a Nigerian and International crew, 300 strong, and cast joining us from Nigeria, UK, US Japan etc. to make tell a truly incredible film. Every film is made by believers and I am deeply grateful for the friends who joined me on this journey. Grateful for Yinka Edward, who returned as DOP and Co-Producer, alongside Yolanda Okereke, also Costume Designer, with Joshua Enekahire as Assistant Director and Mosadoluwa Olaleka as Production Designer.
