I still don’t know how this penalty was not awarded to Morocco in the last World Cup against France. It happened right in front of the referee. Morocco, without its defense after losing Aguerd and Mazraoui in round 16, and after Saïss had to leave just a few minutes into the first half of France’s game , still caused France problems and came close to scoring. We have two great teams, and I hope the referee will be fair this time. The world is watching. #FairPlayFIFA

The renovation of Belleair CC’s East Course involves moving some seriously mature trees. The process and planning for moving these trees is very thorough. The result- a completely renovated golf course with a seasoned feel to it. Unlike the restoration of our West course, the East is only restoring about a third of Ross’ design. Why not restore it all? It was an impossible task- back in the 1980s our current clubhouse was built over the original driving range. At that time we built a new driving range and lost two par threes and the opening holes of the East. Around that same time the club needed a irrigation pond for the 36 holes, which ate up a good portion of Ross’ East Course design on the other side of the road. The result of that redesign was a course which had 6 subpar golf holes. This renovation will create a better golf course designed to challenge all skill levels. I am very excited to have a better East Course!

What’s the best golf course in the USA that no longer exists? This was once a golf course… Look at the land on the water. Just an unreal piece of ground. That was the original Sutton Bay golf course. Sadly the land kept shifting and moving into the water, it became an un-winnable battle. The course sadly had to be abandoned. I never got to play the original. The new one is incredible, fun and creative and with great views. But the original must have been something else…

We don't know the specifics regarding Kris Boyd being shot. Boyd currently plays for the Jets; formerly played for the Houston Texans. Huge football fan here. Certainly praying Boyd survives and can go back to playing football at some point. Boyd was shot in the abdomen at 2 AM in the Garment District in New York. They call it the witching hour, and nothing good happens in the witching hour. I posted this video about Boyd last year right after it happened. My take was that no player should ever disrespect a coach. Of course holding off any opinion on this shooting until the facts come out, but I have to say, this situation came to mind. #KrisBoyd #Jets #Texans

Why it’s a good idea to play golf with me- or hang out with me. I have been present or have hung out with people who have had 9 hole in one’s. Today I spent the day at Mt Lake. My host gets a hole-in-one on the very last day the course is open. The course goes under restoration tomorrow!!! Last week it was an albatross on the MacKenzie Course at 21 Golf Club. Even saw one at Augusta National. I am a lucky charm!

At the Trump golf course with President Trump -). Am in Palm Beach, the weather is divine and i got a chance to talk to the President about my favorite country India and how crucial it is for the US, to have India strongly aligned with us. He said he “loves both India and Modi and all will be well”. Surprisingly, he said I could follow him on the golf course Which I am now doing. 😎. Hoping to get a few more words in about my aspiration to play a role in fostering entrepreneurship in Middle East. As the only antidote to religious fanaticism.

JUST IN: PGA tour golfer Grayson Murray has died at the age of 30, shortly after withdrawing in the middle of a tournament this week. Murray played 16 holes at the Charles Schwab Challenge before withdrawing, citing an “illness.” “We were devastated to learn and are heartbroken to share that PGA TOUR player Grayson Murray passed away this morning. I am at a loss for words,” PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan said in a statement. Murray shot a two-under-par 68 on Thursday. He previously had battled depression and anxiety.

What was your favorite new course you played in 2024? My choice is easy. The Old Course at St Andrews. We teed off at 5:30PM after I waited for hours praying for a spot. We finished in darkness, I couldn’t see my ball flight here on the famous 17. Nothing else like it. Met and bonded with so many other golf nomads trying to get a spot off the wait list, it’s truly unlike anything else. A course I want to play 1000 times.

I continue to try to teach my grandkids that you have to play under the wind. If you hit it high, you will cry. There was nobody better than Trevino when it was windy, he could hit a 4-iron from a 100 yards. A genius. This is the 14th at Maidstone. My first time playing the course and what a magnificent course it is. Is 14 a candidate for the best par 3’s in the world?

With what I see with my eyes in Morocco an African country pls as a Nigerian stop consoling your self with the word ‘ we are the giant of Africa’ There is no pothole in any of Moroccan major road and there is no sand sand roads even in the villages … the kingship is connected to the people and the system is working … note no power outage oo even in the villages and you will not be idle in this country except you are lazy ….. This is how every major road is we have been to almost every major state and the housing system is nothing to compare with African standard … infact I see reason why Moroccans see them selves as Europeans . And of course why will they insult the kingship when every sector is working well and basic amenities are been provided ! Chai I weep for Nigeria my country ! We will need atleast 100 years to reach the standard of Morocco Walai no be curse except revolution happens in Nigeria …
