Fair question to simply wonder how we’ll ever be able to afford North-American vehicle brands with this type of hourly wages & pay increases compared to the inflate pricing on new vehicles & models?

As the son of an aerospace union worker, whose union was busted at the company, after that I have always thought there was a time for unions in the past & not today. I must say the times have changed, and to see the success of unions in our country makes me happy for our workers.

Next step, all three automakers will end up filing bankruptcy because of these contracts and it will again be either a taxpayer bailout or massive layoffs…. Unions don’t work anymore.

The minor wage increases will be eaten up by inflation before the end of November.
