#WATCH | Dubai: India to take on UAE, in the second match of #AsiaCup today. UAE's Captain Muhammad Waseem says, "We won't consider this a big match because all teams are good, so all matches will be the same. But the hard work that we are doing, we will stick to our plan - what we have learnt and what we will do, we will go according to that. The result is up to the game...We play a lot of Cricket here, you can say that India and Pakistan also play a lot here. But this is our home ground, so we will try our best to take advantage and play good Cricket."

We will not be remembered by the laws we passed. We will not be remembered by the oversight functions we are able to perform. We will not be remembered by the fact that we won and we are here. We'll be most remembered by the positions we take for matters of controversy and issues that are sensitive to our nation. There are thousands that have been here and have left, and there will be more. Our children, our brothers, our siblings will be here, but they will remember us by the mark we make here. - Shehu Sani, Fmr. Senator representing Kaduna Central, speaking at the 2026 NASS Open Week.

#WATCH | Delhi: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) Chief Spokesperson Saurav Das says, "Today, the National Working Committee of the Cockroach Janta Party will be convening at 2 pm. We will all be meeting online because everybody is in different states and is working on 'School Theek Karo' campaign. The July 25 Agreement fulfillments are not being adhered to and the timelines are not being adhered to by the Central Govt. Today, we will decide on what should be our next escalation options and we will put out a media statement shortly thereafter."

We will be marching for a ceasefire on Saturday, not in competition with Remembrance weekend, but as part and parcel of it. We are remembering all those who have been killed in war, and we are trying to prevent more human life from being destroyed.

We all have a choice to be hopeful. Voting is a choice. Being a decent human being is a choice. We all have a choice to bring about the country we want. We all have the power. America has been a force for good. Yes, we have made mistakes, but we can and should learn from our history. We can walk forward into the future, embracing a better future, one that is for all of us, not just some of us. We can be a force for good, a force of hope. Thank you, Michelle Obama and Barack Obama for these beautiful words today, and congratulations on the opening of the magnificent Obama Library.

I got asked on a livestream tonight to share a good memory I had of Charlie. I think we should be sharing a lot of our best memories of him. We should be sharing the salt and light he brought into the world and our lives.

“Our journey has been quite long, and trying, difficult, but that’s the beauty of it. That we are where we are, through those difficulties. We have endured, we have survived, we want to do just as much to be better human beings, to be where we want to be that some people in other parts of the world have taken for granted. We will be there no matter what.” President Kagame | #RwandaDay

Outrageous!!!! Condition of Rawal Dam!!!! All the departments are busy making money from here & there. Nil work being done. We are a pathetic state. We have never respected or valued our assets. Be it minerals of Baluchistan or dams of this country! I hate it here.
