I would agree with her on women being at home. We haven’t had a raise in the real wage since 1978, and that’s about the time women started working to keep up with consumption, and the rising debt in their wallets. The one who used to hold her family together emotionally, now became emotionally overwhelmed herself, and divorce rates skyrocketed. As it stands, it takes two to support a family now because of the lack of an increase in real wage. We all get up in the morning, say goodbye to our children, and then, ship them off to a stranger to raise them. By the time we get home, there’s just enough time to say goodnight to them, just to wake up and do it all again the next day. Repeat this eternally, and then, your children are grown. Time is short, and it is one of the most important gifts on the planet. How we spend it matters. I think a woman should be able to be home raising her kids so that they are not programmed into this awful society and can be taught core values by their mothers. I also think that a man should be paid more of a real wage so that the women have this privilege again.

We’ve traded strength for comfort. Progress isn’t always forward. Time to evolve back to power.
