Perhaps people will now see how insane this is going to get. The extent to which these things should be called back should only be in the last two innings, or not at all. And it should be automated by the booth not by the players.

They should just make it dependant on where the center point of the baseball is for an umpire's call of "ball" to be overturned. If the center point is within the box, the call is overturned to a strike. If the center point is outside the box, the call of "ball" is upheld.
