Hegel observed in 1832 that 'what experience and history teach is this—that nations and governments have never learned anything from history, nor acted upon any lessons they might have drawn from it.' Not surprisingly this applies to smaller organisations, too.

In my daughter's rape trial, the judge laid out the sequences of decisions the jury had to make (if a, then e, if b then c) it included the phrase, "then you must find the defendant not guilty" SIX times. (verdict not guilty) The CJS needs to understand what "priming" is.
