Uniswap V4 hooks have solved the inefficient liquidity problem, and just like PumpFun revolutionized the bonding curve, hooks will revolutionize the underlying liquidity. In honor of $HOOKR hitting ATH’s, I decided to make another video explaining the importance of Hooks. Liquidity pools have failed at maximizing the value of the underlying dollar, that will change soon. Seeing some really innovative hooks beginning to get spun up: - leverage liquidity hook: enable borrowing, and leverage on all liquid liquidity Pools - Arbitrage hooks: pre-define slippage, and block malicious arbitrage bots by removing the arbitrage within the same block as the TX. These fees can go back towards strengthening liquidity Pools. - Idle dollar hooks: while liquidity pool said idle, the opportunity cost of yield remains, with this hook, you can now earn ~3-4% APY when the LP’s are sitting idle Uniswap V4 hooks are still so new, but within 3 to 6 months, every liquid pool will have one or multiple hooks on top of it, that I am confident about. Make sure you understand how they work before you miss the boat.

For over 6 months, we've been writing a large body of work that explains the Uniswap V3 codebase. As you can imagine, this is no small piece of literature! Instead of waiting until everything is done before publishing, we decided to start releasing the portions that are finished now, rather than keep the useful alpha in the dark We will compile all the blogs into a single resource, but right now this collection of articles has no name (Uniswap V3 Book is already taken — do you have suggestions?). The first article we are publishing today is “How Concentrated Liquidity Works in Uniswap V3." This article is rich in animations and even includes an interactive widget. Of course, the bulk of the investment went into making sure we explained everything as clearly as possible. We'd like to thank Andrew and deadrosesxyz for their helpful reviews that contributed to this. More will be published in the following weeks. This is one of our biggest content investments to date. Making such an intimidating codebase digestible is a huge task, and we're excited to be at the stage where we can release some highly polished articles about it.

Announcing Metropolis Part 1 – enabling users to immediately trade new tokens and markets. This is a major upgrade to the way Jupiter manages new tokens/markets and the token list. We are launching the new T0 API for new tokens, which allows you to query the chain to find the market with the most liquidity to swap directly. Tokens will be available using this feature immediately after they are launched. You can try this on today. This feature currently supports Raydium’s CPMM pools and Meteora Dynamic Pools/DLMM as well as Orca Whirlpools. Direct routing is enabled, so you might need SOL or USDC to trade these new tokens. We also shipped a few upgrades to that aims to reduce loading times. When you open the UI it will only load the strict list, instead of the entire 80K tokens on the all-list. We then use Typesense, a performant search engine to serve results from the all-list. If the all-list doesnt contain your desired token, it will then query the chain directly using the new T0 API and swap using direct routing. You should see improved loading times on the front-end and an overall much smoother experience looking for your tokens now. We will be rolling out Metropolis Part 2 and Ecosystem Token Lists next. OPTICAL AIDS CAUSE 28 DAY MONTHS? NCS does not recommend that we use optical aids for a moonsighting system in Britain for many reasons. The primary reason is that we are seeking a unified solution, and unity is in the sunnah - local, naked eye sightings. Not everybody believes that optical aids are permissible, but naked eye sightings are wholly uncontroversial. Another issue is that optical aids would lead to more and more examples of the moon being “seen” a day early, and out of phase, on the 28th of a lunar month. This has ALREADY HAPPENED to those who use optical aids in the UK - yet has never happened to naked eye moonsighters for over 100 months. Whilst there are procedures from the sunnah of what to do if you were to see a moon on the 28th, we cannot really justify asking people to end their fast a day early on the 28th because of a moon which is invisible to the eye and only visible through optical aids. Hence our stance. Remember - we ourselves use optical aids - and had them on our livestream. We are experienced in them, and it is from our experience we share with you that we have found that it would leave to problems. In any case why are you in a rush to end Ramadan, using technology, and away from the sunnah?
