We have shared a proposal with legislators that will improve 'Order of Protection' laws to strengthen safety & preserve constitutional rights. I'm asking the General Assembly to pass this before they adjourn. It’s time to set aside politics. Tennesseans are depending on us.

Suggestion: perhaps the government of Tennessee could compel the sheriff’s department to release the killer’s manifesto first so that lawmakers and citizens may understand what motivated the shooting spree before they take a step that will affect everyone in the state.

Well, sir, if that is your new way of saying Red Flag Laws, just resign. I am disgusted with gun-grabbers for any reason. All it takes is one false accusation to ruin a good, law-abiding person's life.

If it's a red flag law, it doesn't protect constitutional rights.

"shall not infringe" isn't hard to understand

No. Resign immediately. Red Flag laws are unconstitutional. This proposal should be unanimously voted down and be followed by your impeachment. It violates your Oath of Office, the Tennessee Constitution, US Constitution, the recent SCOTUS Bruen ruling and others. #ImpeachBillLee

NO RED FLAG LAWS! REMEMBER YOU TOOK AN OATH TO FOLLOW AND PROTECT THE CONSITITUON!

ZERO RED FLAG LAWS.

The more you trot out laws to take away rights from people without due process, the more those laws will be used to target people purely for political reasons. Case in point-you used EOs (no due process) to shut down businesses and it spawned nothing more than Karens everywhere using masks to target political opponents. At a minimum you need to build in SEVERE penalties for false reporting.

How about releasing the trans shooters manifesto?
