hi! we just launched SF + LA Tech Week and it’s crazy to say (I know I say this every time) but it really is true - it’s the biggest one yet. we’ve broken more records and now have 1,500+ events, over 2x last year’s launch! SF Tech Week: Oct 6-12 LA Tech Week: Oct 13-19 Register for events here: SF is on fire, on track to be home to the biggest Tech Week. When we first started Tech Week, it was right after COVID, and we saw so many founders relocating outside the Bay Area to cities all over the US. That first year, SF Tech Week was actually the smallest. This year, it’s set to be the largest. We’ve doubled the number of SF events at launch year over year, a clear signal showing just how much the AI wave is fueling the city’s growth. And this is shaping up to be *the* week for tech in the city. LA was home to the very first Tech Week, and it’s special for me to see how much it’s grown. What makes LA unique is the mix of industries here. We’re seeing two in particular take off - AI in entertainment and deep tech. We are very happy to see a turning point in the relations between the governments. We attended the meetings earlier this week and we are very pleased… The turning point is, I think this is going to provide many more opportunities to build on this base of commerce that we have. So, it is an exciting week for Canada and I hope it is an exciting week for India as well.”

Comment “Jump” I’ll send you a link for a free week Not everyone should jump right in, for that reason I have an alternative option that will ease you into the concept and progress your tonnage week to week. Comment “Ease” I’ll send you a link for a free week There’s a lot of questions on this topic, which I have spent a ton of time adding education to my programming so you are learning while you train The math I’ve come to is this, you are lifting 1,500% up to 2,500% of your 1 rep max using this concept. You don’t want more and more each session. You need recovery, so there are ups and downs purposely but the opportunities for PRs DRASTICALLY increase Normal 1-6 rep maxes are always on the table and now you’re adding tonnage PRs on top of that trying to set new PRs for pounds lifted on 18, 24, 30 and 36 reps. Although I don’t use 36 for most people. My programming uses 24 and 30 the most Ultimately it’s a choice. Most people have already decided to do 24 or 30 reps. as much as sf is known for being the technological nerve center of the world, the most vivid stories i’ve heard in this city have nothing to do with our technology, and everything to do with our humanity. there are people who create things and serve others: go to the produce market at 4am, grind coffee beans, knead dough to make pasta. there are people who have driven the same bus route for a decade, who have fallen in love and decided to raise kids here this moment in time calls for a different kind of cultural record. as the city is changing rapidly and every billboard on the highway is populated with AI ads, there is more value than ever in slow, human documentation. i'm really excited to share that i have the support of emergent ventures tylercowen to create art for sf this year

They should break the bank a little bit. They've got, what, $1.1 billion, $1.4 billion in cash profit after last year? There should be live music at every show. There should be a full spectacle every show. Break the bank on it. That's where the bread is buttered. We want Super Bowl numbers every week, not just once every three years."

i permanently left san francisco for asia and it’s actually way better (day 9 of my NS journey) 🚩the old sf baseline: >$1,200/mo to share a room with 5 others in a "Sam Altman backed" hacker house that felt more like a frat house than a workspace >serious safety concerns that were encouraged to keep quiet about >transactional networking where the first question is always "what are you building?" >attend multiple events a day just to score free meals + avoid paying for $20-40 ones ✅ the new network state reality: >$1,500/mo for a clean resort room, daily housekeeping + 24/7 gym access >3 full healthy unlimited meals a day, unlimited esim + gigabit wifi >real community, onsite workshops, fitness classes + office hours with people who actually care (Balaji) >zero grift + minimal larp there were great experiences in sf + i’ll always miss my friends but the roi on living in sf just doesn't add up anymore stop larping about “just move to sf. it will change your life” + move to forest city for $1,150/mo to build something meaningful (the first week is on me)

Again using ‘philanthropy’ and ‘humanitarian causes’ for relevance. Prince William is very involved with London Climate Week. The Mayor of London is co-chair, there are no accidents when it comes to BOTH Princes being involved in this public facing philanthropic activity. Are we all now on the same page that the Palace have been working on brining Harry back?! This decision was not down to Prince William, who I’m told is wide awake to the institutional damage Harry and ‘that one’ have done. During London Climate Action Week, Travalyst premiered their new short film featuring Prince Harry, which showcases how ‘collaboration plays a central role’. At this point anyone that can’t see how the King and Palace have been driving this since early 2025, I really can’t help you. Receipts on my YouTube. I’m seeing this a lot, more and more Americans are choosing to live in Hotels The price of rent has gotten so out of control in America it’s now half the monthly price to just live in a hotel and have all utilities, water, WiFi and everthing included “Yes, we live in a hotel, and honestly, it's by choice. — It's all just one bill a week. Like, seriously, where else are you gonna get a roof over your head with a little small kitchen, bathroom, bedroom? Plenty big enough for two people for $314, approximately dollars a week. Now, this includes your power, your water, your Wi-Fi any maintenance. You don't have to worry about lawn care or dealing with anything outside. You have to get a key to even get in, to even knock at my door. We didn't have to pay any huge deposits, which was the big breaking point when we went out looking for a place.
