To anyone who thinks this isn’t accurate, my mom fell, lost muscle and bone density, fell again, fracture, lost more muscle, frailty increased, caught pneumonia, dead. All the while “perfect” bloodwork and a high quality home cooked diet 100% If you are weak and sedentary, you are inviting death

Sad reality for far too many. I'm sorry to hear that.

This motivates me at 60 to get into the 90th percentile (fitness wise) before it’s too late! Thanks Always!

A fall precipitated a cascade of things that led to my mother's death. I'll never stop exercising and training.

So true. Falls risk assessment and balance training are huge. It’s not a matter of if you fall but rather when.

Great elevator pitch related to the importance of movement health. And, you hit on the true point of the ability to 'rapidly move' -- rate of force development -- essential aspect of the movement performance testing & training. (permission to share an 'on topic' commercial concept visual on your thread?)

Chatting with martial arts instructors+told how many people tell them off the cuff how they would have hurt themselves badly recently if not learned how to fall with them. Breakfalling/rolling should be taught young +be part of everyone's muscle memory for life. 1000s accidents.
