Agreed, but that’s a tough road to navigate, because sometimes, “forcing it” can lead to a blessing. The Canaanite Woman in Matthew 15:21-28 wanted Jesus to heal her daughter and at first she was rejected by the disciples, then rejected by Jesus Himself (twice), but she persisted and in the end Jesus healed her daughter. Luke 11:5-10 talks about persistence as well. I agree with what you’re saying, l’m curious how do you discern between persistence and resting in the rejection?
