We haven’t received any response from COLDCARD, on our refund request, what to do? The only message we received as that they want to replace the current stack. Which is not a viable option… 🧵

We even tried to run a poll to see if we could get some of this massive loss back. And one of the interesting parts is one of the reactions of coldcard itself. Who are these resellers and do they pull their own sales and these resellers forward? We don’t know as we didn’t hear.

We are working with lawyers to get on the pile of lawsuits, but what is realistically the chance here? What do you think we should do?

@COLDCARDwallet @Coinkite Many people answered that you should keep selling Coldcards. If they offer to replace the vulnerable ones and someone want to buy it from you why wouldn’t you sell them?

@COLDCARDwallet @Coinkite Why is it not a viable option to replace the stack? Isn't it up to your customers to decide which hardware wallets they want to buy? It's still a great option in a multi vendor multisig IMHO. It has features I didn't find anywhere else.

@COLDCARDwallet @Coinkite It's a good question. I have no honest answer. Only time can tell... What's the chance COLDCARD will give you your money back? Even lower? I just remember people called to boycott ledger and they kept on selling like nothing happened etc.

It follows there will probably be no software support for future Coldcard users = risk of bugs/ more vulnerabilities not fixed. You've been placed in an invidious position if Coinkite expect you to sell them
