Yesterday, I shared a video of a young man who had reached a breaking point in his life. Instead of making a tragic decision, this man — whom I know as Kasule Paul — chose to courageously speak out. In the video, he explained the challenges he was facing after his merchandise was stolen, leaving him uncertain about how he would return home to his young family — his wife, who had just undergone surgery, and their baby — and explain what had happened. I posted a message on Facebook asking for help in locating him, and I am grateful that we were able to connect. We have since spoken, and he has shared the kind of support he needs during this difficult time. I kindly ask for your compassion and support as we come together to assist him. Thank you.

We talked, but we were ‘just friends,’ and as time went by, we got to know each other more. He would ask me out, and it started becoming something more. Then, one day, he told me he liked me and felt the same way. I was so excited, so hopeful. His birthday was coming up, and there was going to be Pal Norte, a festival here. I spent months saving money to take him to the festival. I even did raffles and everything, because I was 13 or 14 years old. When his birthday finally came, I had prepared a surprise for him, organized everything, and planned a special moment. When I gave him the gift, he saw what it was and got kind of weird. Then he told me, ‘Oh, it’s just that I have a family commitment,’ or whatever. Something like that. But he had been saying for months that he wanted to go, so it didn’t make any sense. I said, ‘Okay, fine, nothing happened.’ Since I had the extra tickets, I told a friend, ‘This is your opportunity, come with me.’ She was going to the festival too, so we went together. We were about to leave when, guess who I ran into at the festival? Him. With someone else, all cuddled up, and I think they were holding hands. And the worst part? Do you know who it was? So, my son-in-law, Dustin, took me shooting and made this video. I brought my trusty .243 that I have not shot in close to 20 years. Some of the targets I hit with it we estimated to be about 400 yards away. This .243 was given to me when I was a boy, and I've killed all but one of my deer with it. Dustin told me he was going to make a video, but I had no idea it would be so professional and entertaining! Thanks, Dustin!
