For our new product, we built a chat in React Native that feels like iMessage Here's how we did it: ① Fabric Swift View ② UICollectionView ③ SwiftUI cells via UIHostingConfiguration React is responsible for the state - mutations, fetching, infinite loading - all via React Query. nothing matters to me more than making sure the next generation understands the patience, commitment, positivity and practicality that is required to have a fruitful meaningful career .. theres so so so many ways for individuals to start building “their careers” -Live Shopping, content creation, vibe coding apps, and streaming IRL like 2xrakai is doing … i cheer for u all heavy - keep going and YOU actually can do it.. it just takes real discipline, the kind most wont wan to deploy!

I’m working on a new video about performance in Expo apps — and I’ve got to say, by far the most impressive technique I’ve found is digging into React Native Worklets (from Software Mansion). Realizing you can offload heavy computations into a custom runtime to keep your JS thread free and your app responsive just blew my mind. It feels like you can generate CPU power out of nowhere 😅 Stay tuned!
