We just fixed the worst part about Browserbase. Our browser recordings sucked, and it was all my fault. The team rebuilt it from the ground up, and now it's one of our best features. It's live today, free for every customer on every plan!

Blog post here:

New session recordings are so good that you can watch full films on our browsers through the dashboard

this is what i love about @browserbase we own what's bad, are honest about it, and work hard to fix it. earnest missionaries🅱️

i really liked that you explained the problem and the new implementatino

Thanks Yasser!!

rrweb funeral when

i still LOVE rrweb, just an FYI!

make browser recordings not suck!

we did!

Rip rrweb you won't be missed 🤧

still amazed this was a single take

that's the way I do it baby!

So glad this made it out into the world after watching the team chip away at it for months. I have learned so much about video encoding in the process. Perhaps too much. Congrats to the team on this launch!!! Yay!!!

do you plan open-sourcing it?

This is cool

smoooth!

rip rrweb 🥀

Impressive!

Love these type of videos

Let’s gooo! Huge upgrade

Yay! New dashboard update

Fantastic video

Very cool. It is the feature that made me bought license for my client but it was indeed deceptive

owning up and then owning the game 🙏

crucial improvement, kudos!

I’m assuming since it relies on screen capture, it can capture canvas & iframes too?

correct!

Great vid! Would be cool to be able to inspect the DOM at any point in time of the failure

We have that! You can look at the page source code in our session debugging dashboard.

Nice, we manage our own containers on GCP to run browser automations and snapshot DOM + screenshot at failure. It's helpful, but I wish it had interactivity

What kind of interactivity would be helpful?

Live interaction with the DOM at the point of failure, being able to pick up the workflow exactly in the state where it failed and then resume it with full inspect element access to clicking on elements and having them highlight in the HTML itself.

good notes, we're on it!

Great vid, single take 🔥
